Newcastle fans want Rafa Benitez to give summer signing Yoshinori Muto a start in the upcoming Premier League game against Man United on Saturday.
The striker, who cost £9.6million from Mainz, has been limited to short cameo appearances so far for his new side.
But, with Joselu and Ayoze Perez blanking, fans want something different at Old Trafford.
One fan said that he couldn’t be any worse than Joselu while another said that Benitez had to give the 26-year-old a chance to show what he can do.
Here are the best reactions from Newcastle fans:
I'd stick anyone up front. Why not try muto. Or Murphy. Or darlow. Anyone other than joselu please

I'd start the kitchen sink….throw in the bath tub, shower, toilet, my car, my house, my road…..whatever we have to throw at them use it. I'd go with muto behind Perez. Murphy and Ritchie either side with shelvey and Ki in the 2.

Why not? He has to be given a chance at some point.

OPINION
Muto had a decent record at Mainz where he scored 23 goals in 72 games. It doesn’t exactly make a prolific hitman but it’s better than Joselu has managed in recent years. Muto has put in a shift when he’s come on as a substitute in recent games and fans are of the impression that he can’t do any worse than the players Benitez has been playing. Fans have been particularly critical of Perez, with Joselu not far behind. It makes it harder for Newcastle fans as they’re having to watch Dwight Gayle and Aleksandar Mitrovic banging in goals for fun at West Brom and Fulham. It’s indicative of how bad things have got at Newcastle that fans have had to resort to saying things like “Well, he can’t do any worse” but that’s the reality at St James’ Park at the moment. It’s a worrying state of affairs. But we’re with them. Give Muto a chance and hold Perez and Joselu back as “impact” subs.
