A section of Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to hail Luke Shaw for his performance in their team’s 2-2 Premier League draw against Chelsea.
United came from behind to draw against the Premier League leaders and were denied a win only by a last-second Ross Barkley goal in an enthralling encounter.
Many supporters were thrilled with the performance of left-back Shaw.

COMMENTARY:
With the ink barely dry on an eyewatering £190,000-a-week contract, Shaw left Stamford Bridge with his head held high and after emptying Willian from his pocket. The left-back has been United’s most consistent performer this season and that continued with another fine display at Stamford Bridge. No player in red was more assured and diligent than the 23-year-old England international, who helped get his team back in the match after Paul Pogba’s brainfart at the corner allowed Antonio Rudiger to put the visitors ahead. Shaw has now played the full 90 minutes of eight of United’s nine league matches this season – he missed the other one only due to concussion – as well as both of their Champions League fixtures. It’s safe to say he has finally won over Jose Mourinho, who had been so critical of the defender during his first two seasons as manager of United.
