Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah might be struggling for goals in the Premier League but he just scored direct from a corner for Egypt, and fans are going wild on Twitter.
The goal from the Liverpool attacker was the fourth in what looks like a fairly routine win for Egypt in the AFCON qualification game.

OPINION
It’s not been a great season so far for Liverpool attacker Salah but a lot of people would point to his underlying season stats that show he’s creating as many chances as he was last campaign. He just needs a bit of luck and for something to click and Liverpool fans will be hoping that this might be the catalyst that opens the floodgates. It was always going to be hard to follow what was a sensational debut season for the Reds but Liverpool are still flying high without his goals. They’re third in the table but level on points with Man City and Chelsea, with all three clubs still unbeaten after eight games. The worry for their rivals must be… What’s going to happen if he suddenly rediscovers his gaol-scoring form? Liverpool fans won’t care if they come from the penalty spot, from the six-yard box or from the corner flag.
