Former Celtic striker Andy Walker has predicted that Rangers will win 3-0 against Hamilton at the SuperSeal Stadium on Sunday.

The Light Blues will win two Scottish Premiership games in a row for just the second time under Steven Gerrard’s leadership if Walker is right and could move up to second in the standings if other results go their way.

The Sky Sports pundit has also been drooling over the form of Ryan Kent, who was sensational in wins over Rapid Vienna and Hearts before the international break.

Talking about Kent on the Sky Sports website, Walker said: “Excellent in the impressive 3-1 victory over Hearts, should get an extended run in the team.”

OPINION

It is hard to see anything but a Rangers win against Hamilton on Sunday, but Gerrard’s men have been poor on the road in the Scottish Premiership. The Gers are without a win on their travels in the league and have lost their last two away games to Celtic and Livingston. Hamilton are not as good though and should put up less of a fight for the ambitious Light Blues. Pedro Caixinha and Graeme Murty both managed to get wins at the SuperSeal Stadium last season, amassing nine goals in the process. If Alfredo Morelos is on top of his form – Kyle Lafferty is unavailable – then there could be another big win on the cards. Rangers’ defence could be the main issue though as they have not kept a clean sheet in the league for other a month. We predict that Gerrard’s side will win 4-1 and put themselves in a good position ahead of their Europa League clash with Spartak Moscow next week.
