Brentford announced their new boss Thomas Frank today, after Dean Smith left to join Aston Villa, and eagle-eyed Leeds fans recognise the former assistant manager from their recent 1-1 draw with the Championship side.
Many Leeds fans have clocked him as the person in the dugout who refused to give the ball back to Ezgjan Alioski.
In the ensuing melee, Brentford player Sergi Canos seemed to throw a head-butt at Alioski. The FA investigated it and ruled that he should face no further action – something that has incensed Leeds fans.
It seems that Frank might well get a rather raucous reception from Leeds fans in the away match later in the season.
Here are the best reactions from Leeds fans to Frank’s appointment:

OPINION
Sergi Canos really got away with one after aiming a really obvious looking head-butt at Alioski. Did Frank do much? Not really and we’re sure that any stick the Leeds fans give him will be good natured. Canos might get a bit more of a hostile reception, although it’s not his fault the FA decided not to punish him. That decision is a real puzzler, with most pundits agreeing with the Leeds fans. To make matters worse, Pontus Jansson was charged by the FA for remarks he made after the match about the referee. All fans want is consistency… Actually that’s not true but it’s a good start. Leeds fans feel hard done to after the 1-1 draw with Brentford and most people would agree with them. Will the FA see common sense and let Jansson off with a warning? That’s very unlikely. A fine will be the probable route they’ll go down – and it’s not going to make Leeds fans happy.
