but it wSome Leeds United fans have been left hammering the performance of midfield maestro Samu Saiz in the club’s home clash with Ipswich Town on Wednesday night.
The Whites welcomed the Tractor Boys to Elland Road hoping to bounce back from a defeat to Blackburn Rovers over the weekend, and goals in both halves, courtesy of Kemar Roofe and Liam Cooper, ensured that Marcelo Bielsa’s side secured the three points.
However, despite the result the supporters were not impressed with what they saw from Spanish star Saiz, who was benched before the hour mark for Adam Forshaw, and took to Twitter to express their frustrations over the firm favourite.

Commentary
This was a solid if unspectacular performance from Leeds, who let their quality shine through without totally dominating the visitors to Elland Road. However, Saiz was nowhere to be seen and the fans were absolutely right to pan his display. The Spanish attacking midfielder is meant to be the man who links those in the centre of the park and the likes of Roofe leading the line, but he struggled to have any sort of impact and his somewhat early substitution shows that Bielsa was likely in agreement with the fans in the stands. He has not been the same dynamo in the Leeds side that he was last season and that is going to be disappointing many at Elland Road. Some were saying he needs a rest but if that is the case then what is wrong with his fitness levels? Yes, he is playing regularly but so are the rest of the team and they are not having the same struggles.
Saiz is playing woefully

Never seen a player bottle as many tackles. He'd pull out of a challenge with a tea bag
