Leeds have suffered another injury as Ryan Edmondson was forced off in the Under-23s game against Hull City on Monday.

The match saw the return of Barry Douglas and Carlos Coberan fielded a really strong team featuring nine players that have made the first-team this season, including Jack Harrison and Tyler Roberts.

One of them, Ryan Edmondson, limped off in the first-half, but not before scoring with his last touch of the game.

He was struggling after a clash with teammate Tyler Roberts.

OPINION

Ryan Edmondson has made two appearances for the first-team and has been used as a substitute under Marcelo Bielsa this season, in the 2-1 defeat to Birmingham. Leeds have suffered more than their fair share of injuries this season, with Luke Ayling the latest to hit the sidelines, joining long-term injured Patrick Bamford and Izzy Brown. Hopefully, this one isn’t that serious. Edmondson was limping around in the game waiting to be subbed before the ball fell to him to poke home for the opening goal. That was his last contribution to the game as he was subbed immediately afterwards. All eyes are on Barry Douglas at Thorp Arch today as he plays for the first time since the 1-0 win against Hull City at the start of October. He’s got through the first 30 minutes unscathed and Leeds fans will be hoping he’s declared fit enough to play against Wigan next Sunday.
