Brendan Rodgers could make two changes to his starting line-up ahead of Celtic’s Europa League clash against Red Bull Salzburg in Austria on Thursday night.

Odsonne Edouard could miss the fixture after picking up a knock in the 1-0 win against Aberdeen on Saturday while Callum McGregor may find himself axed and replaced by weekend match-winner Scott Sinclair.

Tom Rogic is also likely to return to Rodgers’ starting line-up for the showdown at the Red Bull Arena.

Craig Gordon is expected to start in goals behind a back-four of Mikael Lustig, Jack Hendry, Dedryck Boyata and Kieran Tierney.

Kristoffer Ajer and Filip Benkovic are currently injured so Rodgers is pretty much forced into naming the same defensive line as he did at the weekend.

Scott Brown and Olivier Ntcham are expected to start in the deeper-lying midfield role together with Rogic ahead of them in the No 10 position.

James Forrest could start on the right wing with Sinclair, whose form has started to improve, on the left.

McGregor has been a mainstay for the Bhoys this season, appearing in all 18 of their matches across all competitions this season, but Sinclair’s resurgence may mean that he is benched for the trip to Austria.

Up front, Leigh Griffiths could start in the lone striker rule as doubts have been cast over Edouard’s readiness.
