Former West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster has aimed at dig at Wolves after Watford won 2-0 at Molineux on Saturday.
First-half goals by Etienne Capoue and Roberto Pereyra earned the Hornets all three points on Foster’s first return to Wolverhampton since the Baggies won 5-1 against their bitter rivals there in 2012.
Foster was quick to remind the Wolves fans about that result on his personal Twitter account after the game as he hailed Watford’s impressive win.
“What a win and performance. That felt as good as the last time I played at Molineux,” said Foster followed by five ball emojis, symbolising West Brom’s win at Wolves six years ago.

In reaction, some Albion fans were absolutely loving Foster’s tweet:
You may of snaked us but I still love you?

OPINION
Wolves fans hardly gave Foster a kind reception at Molineux, and the ex-Baggies goalkeeper has giving it back as good as he got it on Twitter after the game. Even though he may have left under acrimonious circumstances in the summer, Foster will remain a West Brom favourite and is seen by most as the best goalkeeper that the Black Country club has ever had. He was key to the club’s longest spell in the Premier League and it was a shame to see him go. It’s just good to see him continuing to rile up Wolves even though he no longer plays for the Albion. As for West Brom, it was a bad day for them on Saturday with the 1-0 defeat at Wigan but this may cheer a lot of them up. Foster got a lot of hate after leaving The Hawthorns, but the fans will surely appreciate this and begin to forgive him.
