If I had to single anyone out it would have to be Andy Halliday, thought he was excellent, didn't put a foot wrong, was all over the pitch and was on the end of quite a few dirty tackles too.

Andy Halliday was outstanding today and IMO should have been MOTM. Glad he's upped his game since Stevie G has came in. I don't think anyone else deserves it anymore than him. #livingthedream

Andy Halliday really stepping up this season, his passing this season has been really good. Think he has benefited alot form Gerrard and his backroom coaching. The improvement is glaring.

OPINION
These Rangers fans seem seriously impressed with another brilliant performance from Halliday, and you can see why. The 26-year-old was everywhere in midfield for the Light Blues, and really took the game by the scruff of the neck in the centre of the park. His passing was on point all day long, and his understanding with Scott Arfield looks to be growing. To think that this is a player who came in for such heavy criticism for the majority of last season is amazing, and as many fans point out, there is no one more deserving of this praise than Halliday. He has obviously worked his socks off over the summer to impress Gerrard and has been rewarded with a regular place in the starting lineup. Furthermore, he is a player who quite obviously loves the club and that is always a bonus. Hopefully he can keep this up and continue to be a key player for the Gers throughout the season.
