OPINION
The capture of Yacob is one that has been on the cards for a few days, and it is good news for Forest fans that the club have secured his signature. As illustrated by these responses, Forest fans seem extremely happy with the news, and so they should be. Yacob is a highly experienced midfielder who will add a lot of quality to the Forest midfield ranks. His several years in the Premier League with West Brom will serve Forest well as they look to achieve promotion under Karanka. The added steel that Yacob brings in midfield will be key if Forest want to climb the table, especially after such an indifferent start to the season. At 31 years old, Yacob is still at his peak as a defensive midfielder, and should be able to give Forest a good two years of service. Securing such a player on a free transfer is a shrewd move, and hopefully one that can now kickstart Forest’s season.
I think this is a really good signing. I've seen him many times playing for West brom and I always thought he had quality. Well done @NFFC and @Karanka ? ? ?

Welcome and all the best to him! A strong no nonsense player! One or two classes over what we got. Would like to see him and Guedioura in the middle! ???????
