A section of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to urge Manuel Pellegrini to unleash summer signing Andriy Yarmolenko against Everton on Sunday.
The Hammers have lost all four of their opening Premier League games and the Ukrainian fringe player is yet to earn his first league start for the London club since signing from Borussia Dortmund for £17.5million in the summer.
However some West Ham fans want that changed at Goodison Park, with one saying that the attacker “has to start” against the Toffees.

Maybe play Anderson and Yarmolenko off Arnautovic give him a bit of support. We can get all our width from the wingbacks pic.twitter.com/B4qtqXWTN9

OPINION
Yarmolenko is yet to impress most West Ham fans but these supporters here definitely want to see more from the Ukraine international. The 28-year-old has been on the fringes of Pellegrini’s starting line-up in the opening weeks of the campaign, having to make do with four appearances off the bench. He started for Ukraine during the international break, so it cannot be a fitness issue and must just be that Pellegrini prefers other attacking options or is simply not impressed by his summer signing. Either way, no one is going to fully see how Yarmolenko can perform in the claret and blue unless he is starting games. He may have been uninspiring against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup but he could step up for the big games and no game is bigger right now than this must-win at Everton. Michail Antonio will probably have to be dropped to make way for Yarmolenko, and there surely won’t be many complaints about that.
