A section of Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter to the performance of Eros Grezda in his debut against Dundee at Ibrox on Saturday.
The 23-year-old summer signing came off the bench in the 77th minute of the 4-0 win for the Gers, as they moved up to fourth place in the Scottish Premiership.
Some Rangers fans were pleased with what they saw in the Albania international’s brief cameo, which is no doubt a good sign of what is to come once he is playing more regularly.

Gerrard is a magician, Halliday actually looks a footballer under him, responsible positioning and pinging the ball about the park. Incredible improvement from him. This squad is looking good, want to see more Grezda ASAP too, seemed an intelligent player

Good performance, today Dundee lucky it was only 4. Wasn’t 1 bad performance. Good to get Grezda some minutes looks quick and direct and to take Coulibaly off to save him for Thursday night. A dream come try for @Glenn_M22

I thought Kent proved his worth today excellent 1st half unplayable at times once Grezda gets up to speed will be a nightmare for defences.

OPINION
It is early days in Grezda’s Rangers career, but judging by the reaction of these fans, there is plenty to be excited about the former Osijek winger. Steven Gerrard brought him in late in the summer transfer window after Jamie Murphy was ruled out for the season. Grezda is not quite the first choice on the left wing yet but once he is settled in, he may become a more regular sight in the starting line-up. However one thing that most fans learned about the Albanian on Saturday is how quick he is and that could make him a very good impact sub if he was brought on late in games that Rangers are struggling to win. He could be key in the Europa League fixtures because the Gers are expected to defend more so counter attacking could be a good strategy. They could have also done with him against Celtic to help relieve some of the pressure on the defence.
