OPINION
These Tottenham fans seem to have several differing viewpoints on the situation. Some have reacted jokingly to the announcement, with the club once again being forced into an awkward situation with regards to their stadium issues. Others have taken a slightly more serious approach, with one suggesting that they should have allowed Watford to play the fixture at home. Either way, the fact is that this is the club’s decision, and fans will have to travel up to Milton Keynes if they want to see the clash unfold. Unfortunately, judging by this reaction, there is unlikely to be too many supporters willing to make that journey. Spurs may find a mostly empty stadium greets them when they walk out of the tunnel, and that will be a disappointment for the players. The club possibly should have just allowed Watford the home tie, but in many ways this shows a determination to take the competition seriously by not giving up any potential advantage to the Hornets.
