Celtic have decided to omit Manchester City loanee Daniel Arzani from their Europa League squad, and many City fans have taken to Twitter to react angrily to the news.
Australia international Arzani joined the club from Melbourne City over the summer and was immediately loaned out to the Hoops on a two-year deal.
The 19-year-old has however missed out on a place in Celtic’s squad for the Europa League, as reported by the Scottish Sun, and some City fans have been fuming on Twitter over the snub.

A primary reason to loan a player to Celtic is to get them some European games. Unacceptable by them.

Should have loaned him to NAC.

OPINION
These Manchester City fans are fuming at Celtic for their decision to snub Arzani in the Europa League, and it is easy to see why. The expectation will have been that Arzani will be given as much opportunity to impress as possible north of the border, but instead he is now set to miss out on one of the biggest chances to do that. European football is key for both club and player, and for Arzani to have no involvement in Europe this season will be no good for his development. City will have had big expectations for Arzani’s time in Glasgow after the success of Patrick Robert’s loan spell there, but these early signs are not so good. Granted, Arzani is young and needs time to develop, but this will be a big blow for him, especially after such a successful summer playing at the World Cup for Australia.
