Pickford's distribution is great. I love how he smashes the ball dead quickly to no one.

OPINION
These football fans seem pretty adamant that Pickford put in a bad display for England, and in truth it was not his best performance. He could potentially have done better to keep out Spain’s opener, but there was nothing he could do about the second. That being said, it is way too harsh to be saying that the Everton star is not good enough for England. His performances at the World Cup over the summer proved beyond doubt that he is absolutely good enough to play for his country, and that he is also the best goalkeeper available to Gareth Southgate. One bad game is not going to change that. Following his good form at the World Cup, Pickford now has the chance to really make that number one jersey his own in the coming years for England, and he will be looking to do that with a better display next time out.
