Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa has announced an unchanged starting XI for the Championship clash against Birmingham.

His side go into the game top of the league and looking to push on after an impressive 3-0 win against Preston last time out.

The team news was announced on the official Leeds Twitter site ahead of the 3pm kick-off.

It means Tyler Roberts leads the line again after scoring two goals on Tuesday night and Jamie Shackleton returns to the bench after his injury.

He replaces Jack Clarke on the bench, which led to one fan asking “What does he have to do?” to push for a first-team place.

Another fan was also unhappy at Clarke missing out.

However, the majority of fans are happy with the team – here are the best reactions:

OPINION

The atmosphere at Elland Road will be electric this afternoon as their fans look to solidify their position at the top of the league. However, it’s the addition of former manager Garry Monk in the Birmingham dugout that will likely mean extra frisson from the home fans. They’ve not forgiven him for leaving them after one season when they just failed to make the play-offs after being in the top six for the majority of the season. They’ll love to get one over on a manager who claims he left the team ‘united’ after his year in charge. Leeds suffered after the loss of Monk and Chris Wood, who joined Burnley in the summer, and took a huge step backwards in the following season under Thomas Christiansen and Paul Heckingbottom. That’s all been forgotten after their resurgence under Bielsa, but the fans will find it a lot harder to forgive and forget Monk, as he’s likely to find out just before 3pm today.
