A section of Celtic fans have been reacting on Twitter after ex-Hoops midfielder Mubarak Wakaso posted a picture of himself when he first joined the club in 2014.
Wakaso, 28, is currently playing for La Liga club Alaves, but spend the 2014/15 season on loan with the Bhoys from Rubin Kazan, scoring a memorable goal against Red Bull Salzburg as he only managed 11 appearances in all competitions.
On Wednesday, the Ghana international took to his personal Twitter account as a throwback to his days at Celtic, and now some fans are wanting him back in Glasgow.

Used to sign you all the time in Fifa with pace 95 ??.
Remember John Collins press conference being asked what you bring to the squad and his reply “he’s got bags of pace” ??.

OPINION
He may have only played for Celtic a handful of times, but Wakaso is still held in high regard by some fans and it is a shame that they never got to see much more of him while he was in Glasgow. Since leaving the Bhoys, Wakasao has played for Las Palmas, Panathinaikos, Granada and now Alaves. In his last two outings, he has helped his side to back-to-back wins against Espanyol and Real Valladolid, so he is still playing quite well by the sounds of things. It’s hard to tell whether the calls for him to return to Parkhead are sarcastic or not but given Brendan Rodgers’ shortage of quality central midfielders, he probably would be a good addition in January. Alaves probably won’t be too keen to cash in on the 51-times Ghana international, but he has been playing against some top sides in Spain and appears to have done quite well, so why not make an offer?
