Belgium international Leander Dendoncker is reportedly jetting into England to hold talks with Wolves – and Nuno Espirto Santo is about to strike gold if he is able to convince the Anderlecht star to join the Premier League newcomers.

Dendoncker is a defensive midfielder with enormous potential and it is amazing that he has lasted this long at Anderlecht without being scooped up by one of the top clubs in Europe.

Not only can Dendonckerr play in defensive midfield, but he has also been playing as a centre-back for Anderlecht – and that is why he will be such a good signing for Wolves.

Nuno showed last season that using Conor Coady in his defence has been able to help his side launch some quality attacking play.

Dendoncker is 10 times as good as Coady, and he is yet to even reach his full potential.

Nuno can unlock that and get him to become one of the best ball-playing defenders in the Premier League.

Within a years’ time, there will no doubt be clubs offering Wolves twice what they could pay for the Anderlecht enforcer,
