A section of West Brom fans have slammed Hal Robson-Kanu for his performance in the 1-0 Carabao Cup win against Luton Town at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night.
Robson-Kanu, 29, was the hero on Saturday when the Baggies grabbed a 4-3 win at Norwich, but he squandered a host of chances in front of goal against the League One side and received pelters on social media for an inept showing.
One angry Albion fan claimed that the Black Country club needs to “bin” the Wales international.

If you read the commentary on sky sports it’s fair to say Robson-Kanu is having trouble heading a ball at goal…we’ll just shooting at goal in general really #WBALUT #WBA

If HRK hadn’t scored that goal for Wales he could well have been playing for a league 2 team like Luton

OPINION
How is Robson-Kanu still a West Brom player? He seems to pop up with a good goal every now and then but his overall performances, especially when he starts, are woeful and if Moore wants to improve this side then he needs to look at how the former Reading player is still able to get into his starting line-up. The 29-year-old had plenty of chances against Luton and in all seriousness, he should be finding the back of the net in these types of games with relative ease. It is totally understandable why fans are frustrated with the Welshman. He has not done a lot since joining the club on a free transfer two years ago – which seemed to be down to him performing a Cruyff Turn at Euro 2016 – and one fans call for him to be binned should be something that Moore considers if a loan offer was to come in from a club daring enough to sign him.
