A section of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to urge the club to cash in on 2017 signing Serge Aurier after it was reported that he is wanted by Napoli.
Sky Sports Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed on his personal website that Aurier, 25, is a potentially “expensive” loan signing for Napoli, but they would rather not sign the Ivory Coast international as he would take up a non-EU spot and Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa is also on the radar of the Serie A club.
Aurier signed for Spurs from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and as reported by statistics website Spotrac, is earning £80,000-a-week on his deal in North London.
Some Tottenham fans are in meltdown over the news on Twitter and now want Aurier to pack his bags and leave this summer, with one telling chairman Daniel Levy to “do it”.

OPINION
It seems that a lot of Tottenham fans want Aurier gone this summer – and you can understand why. His performances were not the best last season even though he cost the club £23million from PSG. The Ivorian has issues with discipline and was nowhere near as effective as Kieran Trippier. Trippier has now had a quality World Cup with England and that is surely going to damage Aurier’s chances of first team football even more. As one supporter points out, Kyle Walker-Peters is also on the books at the club, so it is not like Mauricio Pochettino and Levy would even have an urgent need to buy a replacement.
