Chelsea attacker Izzy Brown has been pictured arriving at Leeds-Bradford airport as an eagle eyed fan spotted him meeting with members of staff from Leeds United.

The 5’9″ forward, who plays as a winger or an attacking midfielder, was snapped by Leeds fan Andy Miller (@lufc82uk on Twitter) travelling to the north, with pictures of him meeting an entourage in the arrivals lounge.

It is said that the 21-year-old met with a member of Leeds staff wearing a tracksuit and the initials MG, with reliable journalist Phil Hay having already stated that a deal for an attacker is expected to be completed today.

Opinion

It is all very covert once again from Leeds, which is how the Whites have preferred to carry out their transfer business this summer. There have been very few leaks about who the club’s targets might have been, but it appears the cat is finally out of the bag with Brown. He should bring in some more quality up front to support the likes of Samu Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski, although after their performances recently fans might argue that they do not need the back up. His experience with the likes of Chelsea, Huddersfield and Brighton should stand him in good stead for the upcoming campaign, while he should settle in with ease considering Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker have also made the move from Stamford Bridge to Elland Road this summer. Is this the beginning of a partnership between the two clubs? Perhaps not, with the Blues shipping young talent here, there and everywhere, but if the Whites can profit then there is no harm in taking them on.
