Andre Gomes is currently undergoing a medical in Spain alongside Yerry Mina at Barcelona ahead of his move to Everton, according to a reliable journalist.
Dominic King from the Daily Mail made the claim on his personal twitter account on Thursday afternoon.
He added that Gomes has a slight injury but not one that would scupper the medical.
He claimed both deals should be done before the 5pm deadline.

Wow. It might be too much to say that Everton have had the best summer transfer window, but if they get both of these deals over the line then they’ll definitely have had the best deadline day. Gomes and Mina are two serious world-class signings. Man United wanted Mina and Jose Mourinho won’t be best pleased that his Merseyside rivals have pipped him to the post. Gomes might have had his issues at Barcelona, but he’s a player with undoubted Premier League quality and he would walk into most sides. He’s won 29 caps for Portugal, played 78 times for Barcelona and won the Euros with his country and the Spanish title twice. He’s some player and Everton will really reap the benefit of having him in their side. Both players will actually seriously improve Everton and we can see them making an impact in the top half of the table now. Exciting times for fans who will be looking out for official confirmation of these moves before 5pm.
