Leeds United want one more signing before Friday’s deadline and it’s a Premier League midfielder, according to ultra-reliable journalist Phil Hay from the Yorkshire Evening Post.

He made the claim on his personal Twitter page on Monday morning and it’s got the Leeds supporters in meltdown about who it could be.

A few names popped up but the one that’s getting the most votes is Izzy Brown from Chelsea. He’s got loads of Championship experience and he’s just come back from an injury that kept him out of the second half of last season.

OPINION
Leeds fans have been scouring the lower reaches of the squads for the big clubs in the Premier League, trying to work out who Marcelo Bielsa could be looking to get in on loan. The most popular name is that of Chelsea youngster, Isiah Brown, the 21-year-old secondary striker. Like a lot of talented Chelsea youngsters, Brown has struggled to break into the Chelsea first–team, although he has made one appearance, back in May 2015, in a 3-0 defeat against West Brom. He went out on loan to Brighton last season where he made 14 appearances, before suffering a serious injury that ruled him out for the rest of the season. He’s had previous loan stints at Vitesse Arnhem, Huddersfield and Rotherham. He helped Huddersfield to the Premier League in the 16/17 season, scoring four goals in 15 games in the second half of the season and playing all three play-offs, including 98 minutes in the final that they won 4-3 on penalties against Reading. Leeds fans are hoping he can help do the same for them this season.
