West Brom are preparing a massive new bid for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack after having a £7million offer rejected, according to the Sun.

The newspaper claim the Baggies are in hot pursuit of the 24-year-old ahead of the closure of the Championship loan window tomorrow night (Friday).

The Sun report West Brom have put together a loan-to-buy bid totalling £7million including add-ons that would become permanent in the January window.

Good move for West Brom?

Yes. Dack is a midfield goal machine who was outstanding for Blackburn as they were promoted last season, scoring a remarkable 22 goals as well as supplying 14 assists. He has continued with that form after making the leap to the Championship look an easy one, netting four goals from four matches for Rovers as well as adding three assists. It is this kind of penetration that has persuaded Darren Moore to make a big-money late pursuit that could come close to £10million in total if the north-west club get their way. Is he worth it? Aged 24 and entering his peak years, definitely if he can steer the Baggies to promotion.

Likely to happen?

There is a very good chance, although Blackburn might need to secure a replacement before they green light Dack’s departure. The Sun suggest they have their eye on a few possibles, which means Dack could be unveiled as a marquee late West Brom loan signing in the next 36 hours.
