A selection of West Brom supporters have turned to social media to rave over Darren Moore’s decision to axe Allan Nyom and Hal Robson-Kanu for the starting XI against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening (7 August).

The Baggies confirmed their line up via their official Twitter account, with Moore and his men looking to pick up their first three points in the Championship after losing 2-1 at home to Bolton Wanderers in their opening clash.

The boss chose to make two changes from defeat to Wanderers, with Tosin Adarabioyo and James Morrison coming in for the dropped Nyom and Robson-Kanu – a decision which was met with delight on Twitter by the Baggies faithful.

Opinion

After Saturday’s defeat to Bolton, some might have expected Moore to make some knee jerk changes to his team, and he obviously has not disappointed with the double change. The pair dropped from the starting XI struggled to impose themselves against Bolton and the fans obviously feel that their replacements are much better choices going forward. For Adarabioyo, it is a debut following his summer move, while West Brom supporters need no reminding what Morrison can do on hid day. Their inclusion in the line up does make them look significantly stronger and they will be hoping to have the desired impact after a disappointing first day in the second tier.
