Manchester City striker Lucas Nmecha is set to follow teammate Jack Harrison to Leeds United on loan after he was cleared for Elland Road talks by Pep Guardiola, according to the Sun.
The report claims that Nmecha was cleared for Elland Road talks shortly after the Harrison deal was agreed.
Guardiola is said to be happy to put the highly-rated Nmecha under Bielsa’s wing for a season.
This comes after Swansea thought they had agreed a deal for the 19-year-old.

Wow, this one’s developing rapidly and from out of the blue, Leeds are now in talks with a seriously talented youngster. Leeds United won’t be very popular in South Wales tonight. Swansea thought they had a deal sown up for Nmecha but now Leeds are in pole position as Guardiola has personally cleared the player for talks at Elland Road. Leeds fans were starting to doubt the pulling power of Marcelo Bielsa after a slow summer but now he’s pulling in favours and landing some seriously talented youngsters. Jack Harrison and Nmecha could be a lethal partnership and playing together will help both of them. If the talks go well we could see this one announced over the weekend. It might be asking a lot, but if Leeds could sign a midfielder (Ryan Woodsa) and a centre-back, it could be one of the best transfer windows in the Championship. Leeds have lost Forshaw so really need a replacement, although Bielsa said in his press conference today that he’s happy with the players that he’s got. He might be even happier if he lands Nmecha.
