Pretty excited by this signing, looked a bright spark in a rather glim Sunderland team at times. Sure Potter knows a bit about due to the Swedish links maybe too. Welcome to Swansea, Joel. YJB

OPINION
The news that Joel Asoro has signed for the Swans has gone down fairly well with the club faithful. They accept that he was at a side that were relegated last season, but that he still performed well despite the circumstances. Swansea need all of the firepower that they can get their hands on if they want to be contenders for promotion, and Asoro appears to be the perfect fit for them. The fans appear to support the club bringing young players in, as they can only develop and improve the longer they are with Swansea – and the same should surely for Asoro too. Swansea are a quality side and Asoro may just have the chance to shine in his stay at the club.
