West Brom winger James McClean has failed to turn up at training today (Monday), according to Telegraph reporter John Percy.
The reliable journalist has claimed via his personal Twitter account that McClean, 28, will be fined by the Baggies as talks rumble on between them and Stoke over a summer transfer.

According to Spotrac, McClean earns £30,000-a-week on his deal at The Hawthorns.
The Republic of Ireland international has been a controversial figure during his spell in the Black Country and many fans may be glad to see the back of him.

McClean is just one of them players who will grab the headlines regardless – and it is never for the talent that he shows on the football pitch. Time and time again, West Brom fans have tried to stand by him, but time and time again he does something to get on their nerves. Whether it’s talking up a move to Celtic, or turning his back on the Union Flag during a national anthem ceremony in a pre-season friendly, he is always grabbing attention for what he does off the field more than on it. And when he does get people talking about his performances on the pitch, it’s never a good thing. He constantly gave away stupid free kicks last season that put the Baggies under immense pressure in the closing stages of games and he always looked as though he could get sent off. This latest development just shows how immature and unprofessional the man really is and Albion will be better off without him and with that extra £5-6million in their pocket.
