A section of Tottenham fans have been reacting on Twitter after it was reported that youngster Reo Griffiths has quit the club.
Football.London has reported that Griffiths, 18, has cancelled his third-year scholarship deal that he signed last month and is now on the search for a new club.
It is understood that Ligue 1 giants Lyon are in pole position to sign the centre-forward, who was in stunning form in the Spurs youth set-up last season by scoring 27 goals in 20 Under-18s Premier League games.
And some Spurs fans have been left baffled that he has torn up his deal, with one saying “good riddance” to the teenager.

I believe the staff tried to keep him but i think this kid's attitude stinks. He thinks that he is a star

OPINION
Griffiths was certainly going to be one for the future at Spurs, but whatever his reasoning is, it seems as though he is now going to do his developing elsewhere. These Tottenham fans are at a loss as to why he has left the club. They do not seem impressed by his attitude, while another has seemed to have heaped the blame on club chairman Daniel Levy. It’s hardly the club’s fault if Griffiths has just cancelled his contract just a month after agreeing a new deal. There is certainly something wrong that has not come to light just yet.
