RB Leipzig and Sweden attacker Emil Forsberg is the most likely player to sign for Everton next, according to Football Whispers.
The football news site claims that Forsberg, 26, is firmly in the running to head to Goodison Park this summer after the Mirror had reported that he was high on Marco Silva’s wishlist for the transfer window.
It is understood that Bundesliga club Leipzig value the former Malmo attacker at £30million.

OPINION
Forsberg has been an extremely consistent player for Leipzig over the last few years. His 2017/18 season was disrupted by injury and suspension but he still managed to make 33 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and supplying four assists in the process. Forsberg is very much an attacking winger, who prefers to play on the left and cut inside to wreak havoc on opposing defenders. Everton do not have a lot of quality in the wide areas so signing Forsberg would definitely be a good piece of business by Silva, who is yet to sign anyone. However £30million is a lot of money for someone who is not exactly playing for a big club and has shown in the last year that he has had injury problems. His stats from 2016/17 look a lot better with him supplying 22 assists across the entire season, but what are the chances of him repeating that success in England? It does not seem likely.
