While many teams promoted from the Championship look to make savvy signings full of Premier League experience, Wolves have chosen to stick to foreign arrivals in their bid to take the top flight by storm.

If there was a prize for most ambitious transfer window, the Molineux outfit would certainly be in with a shout, having seen no less than six players put pen to paper, with a mix of both last season’s loanees and new stars to help strengthen the first team, including Rui Patricio and Raul Jiminez.

It looks as like their business is nowhere near over though, with a loan move for wing back Jonny said to be on the cards once he completes a move to Atletico Madrid, as well as a permanent swoop for playmaker Joao Moutinho, the latter of which is something of a coup for Nuno Esperito Santo.

As well as those two, reliable journalist Tim Nash claims on his Twitter account the club are chasing as many as three further signings to the squad, and the fans could well be in dreamland if the manager strengthens 1) in the right positions and 2) with the same quality that has been brought in already.

Another new goalkeeper could be on the cards to take the place of either John Ruddy or Carl Ikeme, especially if one or both choose to leave, but it is up front which needs the most attention.

Wolves are well stocked in defence, and their midfield is full of quality as well, so a new striker, to battle with the likes of Raul Jimenez and Leo Bonatini, is an absolute must.

The exciting revelation of three new arrivals could also see some fringe figures depart, and so the likes of Michal Zyro, Jordan Graham and Phil Ofosu-Ayeh may well be on their way.

It is exciting times for Wolves fans, but Nuno might be about to take their business to the next level.
