Wolves fans have delivered mainly negative reactions on Twitter after the club confirmed that Prince Oniangue has departed the club for SM Caen.
The 29-year-old left the newly-promoted Premier League club for the Ligue 1 side for an undisclosed fee, after failing to feature for the club since October 2016, soon after he was signed in the summer of that year.
Prince Oniangue has joined @SMCaen on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee. All at Wolves would like to wish Prince the very best of luck for the future.

This news was met with responses from fans urging the club to sign new players, who have only made two signings so far this summer, with only one being an outfield player. These comments included “where’s zinchenko” and “planning on bringing anyone in.”

he's got a point. we need players. any fan that thinks 2 players is enough (1 new outfielder ) then they're deluded. we need a few more players. we all want what's best for the team and club and it's clear to see we need more players or we'll be struggling

OPINION
The news that Prince Oniangue has exited the club has obviously riled the Wolves’ faithful, whose response was to urge the club to sign some more players. Their frustration is understood, as they have only signed a goalkeeper and an outfield player – and they want to be competing in the Premier League without the threat of relegation. The supporters believe that without extra reinforcements, Wolves will be struggling next year, and that is partly true, given the world-class players that already grace the league with their presence. Fingers crossed for Wolves’ fans that the club make a couple more top-quality signings – or they may just be destined to come straight back down again.
