Wolves are set to join the race with a host of other clubs to sign Dundee United midfielder Glen Kamara, according to Team Talk.

The reputable football website reports that the Midlands-based outfit are set to rival the likes of Burnley, Celtic and Rangers to land the signature of the highly sought-after 22-year-old, despite the young enforcer only moving to Dens Park on a free transfer from Premier League giants Arsenal last summer.

Kamara has had an impressive first season with Dundee, and he spent five years with the Gunners before moving on to gain first team football and regular playing time.

Good move for Wolves?

Yes, possibly. It remains to be seen what Kamara can do at the highest level having only had one season at Dundee United.

However, he is a fully fledged international for Finland at the age of 22, which is impressive for someone of his age.

Kamara is a player than can inject a bout of energy into the Wolves midfield, who need reinforcements before the start of their return to the Premier League, as battles can be won and lost in the middle of the park.

Likely to happen?

It remains to be seen. Several other clubs are also chasing after his services, so it is difficult to tell which one would be his next likely destination.

Kamara needs to decide on whether he wants to stay in Scotland with Celtic or Rangers, or if he wants to move to England to have a shot at the Premier League.

Whatever club he decides to join, he should be flattered by the attention – and whether that will be Wolves is another question.
