West Ham fans have delivered mainly negative reactions on Twitter after the club provided a medical update on Andy Carroll and Winston Reid, with many urging the club to get rid of the striker and defender.
It was confirmed on the club’s official website that the Hammers’ duo set to be sidelined for a minimum of three months as they both prepare to undergo surgery on their ankle and knee respectively, meaning that they will miss the start of the Premier League season in August.

I’ve literally lost all hope for AC. I feel bad for him, but we seriously need to consider terminating his contract…

So that's another £1 million to Carroll in wages for nothing.
How much more can you continue to put up with thus and do nothing.
You can't sell him now as injured so bite the bullet and terminate his contract.

Terminate both contracts! Pay Wages for players who actually play? Sounds good doesn't it

OPINION
The news of Carroll and Reid’s respective injury updates has clearly frustrated the West Ham faithful, who are urging the club to end both of their contracts. This comes to no surprise, particularly with Carroll – he was not a regular starter in the 2017/2018 campaign. The fans feel that keeping the two players is a waste of wages, especially if they are not vital to the side’s league efforts. However, it is difficult not to agree with the opinion of the fans – Pellegrini is better off adding to the five signings the club has already made, rather than keep the pair on the books. They would be back in October at the latest – but they will not be missed by the fans.
