A number of Newcastle United fans have been left raving on social media after it was confirmed that Chelsea winger Kenedy had returned to the club on a season long loan deal.
The Magpies revealed the Brazilian’s capture via both their official Twitter account and website, with the South American attacker having impressed during the latter half of last season following his move to Tyneside during the January transfer window.

He is the third player to sign a deal at St James’ Park this summer, goalkeeper Martin Dubravka turning his loan into a permanent move and Ki Sung Yeung arriving on a free transfer after leaving Swansea City.
The majority of the Toon Army were delighted to see Kenedy make the move back to the north east, turning to Twitter to voice their delight.

Newcastle fans have been clamouring for Kenedy’s return ever since the Brazilian dazzler’s loan move came to an end last season and their wish has finally been granted. It might only be a loan move but that has not stopped the Toon Army from revelling in his capture, and there will be hopes he can replicate his displays of last season, where he single-handedly transformed the Magpies’ attack. However, with Dubravka and Kenedy in the squad, it leaves just Ki as the only new arrival at St James’ Park, and if Newcastle are going to improve on their 10th placed finish last season, they need more bodies through the door.
