Swansea City are in the hunt to sign Manchester City attacker Bersant Celina, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper reports on their website that the Swans are interested in the 21-year-old attacking flyer, who represents Kosovo internationally having made his debut for his country in 2016.

The Kosovan is said to cost in the region of £3million, and has recently returned from Championship outfit Ipswich Town on loan, where he netted eight goals and registered one assist. He has also had a stint in Holland, where he had the opportunity to play for Eredivisie outfit FC Twente for under a year.

Good move for Swansea?

Yes, definitely. Celina has certainly made an impact in the Championship during the 2017/2018 campaign, and netted a solid tally of eight goals as an attacking midfielder.

Swansea are looking rather depleted on the attacking front, and the youngster is sure to make an impact if he makes the move to South Wales.

He would emerge as one of the league’s brightest talents if he joined a side that are arguably one of the favourites for promotion.

Likely to happen?

Yes, possibly. Swansea are edging ever closer to a deal for the ten-capped international, and no other clubs have come sniffing to land his signature.

The Swans need to wrap up the deal imminently, and he could turn out to be a massive coup at £3 million if he churns out impressive performances every week.

A deal could happen very soon, and it appears as though boss Graham Potter has found himself a hidden gem in the shape of Celina.
