Everton are in the hunt to sign Celta Vigo attacker Emre Mor on loan this summer, according to Turkish Football.

The Turkish website report that a source close to the 20-year-old speed demon has confirmed that the Toffees are among several English teams interested in a season-long loan this summer.

Turkish Football claim that Mor’s future at the La Liga club is uncertain amid multiple clashes with manager Juan Carlos Unzue.

Good move for Everton?

Yes.

Mor is a player with brilliant potential, with the young attacker breaking into the Turkish national team at the age of just 18 years old.

The diminutive 20-year-old, who stands at 5ft 6in [Transfermarkt], has unfortunately failed to live up to expectations at Celta Vigo since his move from Borussia Dortmund last summer, scoring just once in 27 appearances in 2017/18.

However, a loan move would mean Everton would be taking little risk in bringing Mor in, and if Marco Silva can get the most out of him, this could be a shrewd move from the club.

Likely to happen?

It looks like Mor will be on the move this summer, but whether Everton will be his destination is impossible to say.

This source seems pretty reliable, but there are several other clubs in the hunt, and the Toffees will have their work cut out to win the race.

It is also unclear whether Mor would want a move to the Premier League at this stage.
