A section of Everton fans have expressed their joy on social media after reports emerged that the club have rejected a bid for Ademola Lookman.
According to The Mirror, Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have had a bid of £12million rejected by the Merseyside club.
It is understood that the 20-year-old held talks with the Toffees last week, with Everton reluctant to sell the winger, but Lookman is still keen to leave the club.

You can’t say Werner is worth £100m then bid £12m! For Lookman, it’s an insult.

OPINION
Everton fans have every right to react this way. Ademola Lookman is one of the clubs prized assets and should not be sold under any circumstances, especially not for a reported £12million. He has the ability to make an impact in the club’s first-team next season, especially with all the changes that are happening at Goodison Park, Lookman could earn a starting place if he performs at the same level that he did when on-loan at RB Leipzig. Marco Silva has got some work to do in convincing him to stay, but for the Toffees sake, it’s crucial that he succeeds.
