A number of Leeds United fans were left slating the performance of winger Ezgjan Alioski on Twitter after he featured in the club’s first pre-season friendly against Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday evening.
The Whites kicked off the reign of Marcelo Bielsa with a 2-1 win against the League Two opposition, Kemar Roofe and Luke Ayling firing their side into a 2-0 lead before the home team fired home just before the half time whistle to halve the deficit.
Despite it being a pre-season outing, fans were still quick to take to social media to pan Alioski for his performance, with a couple drawing their minds back to memories of last season.

Leeds fans are not ones to hold their tongue and they have wasted no time in tearing into the Macedonian winger after his outing in the friendly clash. Some might put it down to a lack of fitness or the fact he is still getting used to Bielsa’s system and tactics, but the fans are right – he should be performing much better against a side who sit in England’s fourth tier. Whatever his excuse, if he wants to keep his place in the first team for the upcoming campaign in the Championship, he needs to get his act together. If not, he could face the same fate as so many of his attacking counterpart from last season – the exit door.
