Celtic take the next step on their long and torturous road to the Champions League Group Stage tonight in Rosenborg, and Brendan Rodgers has announced his line-up – which contains Cristian Gamboa, much to the delight of Celtic fans.
The 28-year-old right-back, who joined two years ago, has only made 24 appearances for Celtic and just three last season.
The Costa Rican international, who starred in the World Cup, takes his place in the starting XI tonight and will be looking to make his mark, and many Celtic fans are delighted to see him.
Elsewhere, Moussa Dembele misses out through injury but Tom Rogic makes a return to the bench after his exertions in the World Cup.
The team news was posted on the official Celtic Twitter page on Wednesday evening ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off.

If Celtic get past Rosenborg in the two-headed tie, they’ll face a really stern test next in AEK Athens.
That’s for another day though. Now Celtic are purely focusing on getting a win tonight to take pressure off them for the away leg next week.
Here are the best reactions from Celtic fans on the return of the Gamboa:

More of a familiar feel to the team, hope Gamboa has a good game especially.
