It could be all change at Tottenham this summer as Mauricio Pochettino looks to grow on another successful season, with fans no doubt hoping for some exciting signings over the coming months.

Another top four finish in the Premier League, an exciting, but short-lived spell in the Champions League and an FA Cup semi final appearance offers a good platform on which the Lilywhites need to build in order to guarantee future success.

That will be done by constant development of their current stars in addition to some new recruits through the door at Spurs’ new stadium – which could also signal the exit of some of their existing talents.

One man whose future has been in much doubt is Danny Rose, the left back out of favour under Pochettino and seemingly exit-bound – although that itself could be in doubt.

Even if Rose does not go, another left back would do Spurs no harm, and they should be looking at a short trip across London for a proven Premier League flyer.

The Sun claim that European giants Juventus are plotting a shock £25million swoop for Crystal Palace full back Patrick van Aanholt this summer, but the Dutch international must be on Tottenham’s radar – especially considering he is settled in the capital.

An electric speed demon, the 27-year-old poses a serious threat down the flank as well as being defensive sound, and has been one of the Eagles’ top performers over the past couple of years.

His pace would offer a different option to Ben Davies’ dependable but unexciting brand of football, and could be like former Spurs man Kyle Walker – just on the other wing.
