Katic became a regular starter at Slaven Belupo, earning over 90 appearances for the club during his time in Croatia, impressing to the extent that he earned his first national call-up to the national team.

It is clear that Gerrard has brought the 21-year-old to the Ibrox to help steady the ship, as the Gers conceded a league-high 50 goals last season.
