Wolves attacker Sherwin Seedorf has joined Bradford City on loan after agreeing terms for a new deal at Molineux, it has been confirmed by the club’s official Twitter account.

Wolves confirm in a tweet that the 20-year-old has penned a new two-year deal at Wolves after joining Bradford City on a season-long loan spell, having previously played for the Midlands club’s under 23’s side.

The youngster has signed for the League One outfit until January 2019, in order to continue his player development after joining Wolves from the Nike Academy.

He netted three goals and laid on a further six assists for the under 23’s in Premier League Two before putting pen to paper to a deal that keeps him at the newly-promoted club until 2020.

OPINION

Seedorf is a talented winger, who is very direct in his style of play. He enjoys taking defenders on with his runs, which is always a great attribute to see in a young player. The youngster deserves his new contract at Wolves, and a loan spell at Bradford may just be the finishing touch in moulding him into a player experienced enough to play games in the Premier League. Boss Nuno Espirito Santo should give Seedorf a chance to play regular football for Wolves once he returns in January, as he could prove to be a vital asset in the club’s bid for top-flight survival. Alongside being very direct in his style of play, Seedorf is a fast player, and can provide support for the strikers. His presence would take the pressure off the forwards, who will be heavily relied upon to score important goals next season
