Manuel Pellegrini must look at a potential deal to bring Ahmed Musa to the London Stadium to bolster West Ham’s attacking options as soon as possible.

Speed demon Musa, who currently plays for Leicester, has had a wonderful World Cup campaign with Nigeria, and was one of the Super Eagles brightest stars during their three games.

The jet-heeled 25-year-old scored two goals for Nigeria, as they almost qualified from a tough group, falling short at the final hurdle versus Argentina on Tuesday evening.

According to the Mirror, Musa is among the names listed as players Claude Puel would not mind selling, so West Ham should look to place a bid to land the red-hot striker.

It is worth noting that the 25-year-old may not be not short of suitors, as many teams will surely have kept tabs on the electrifying forward during the summer tournament.

Musa’s agent William D’avila stated on the Turkish radio channel Radyospor, as quoted by The Sun, that a potential move to Galatasaray is on the cards.

“Yes, we are in talks with Galatasaray.”

Given Puel’s dissatisfaction of the forward, it could be an easy path to sign Musa for Pellegrini, who could be a potential replacement for Manuel Lanzini given the Argentine’s injury concerns.

Musa showed in Tuesday night’s game versus Argentina that he is more than capable of stretching World class defences, as Manchester City’s Nicholas Otamendi and Manchester United’s Marcus Rojo both struggled to deal with his lightning pace.

West Ham would be boosted by his addition, and Musa’s price is not expected to be too large, this could be a great potential deal for Pellegrini to consider.
