West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is plotting a stunning reunion with Manchester City youngster Brahim Diaz as he looks to snap up the youngster on loan, according to the Sun.
The newspaper reports on their website that Hammers manager is keen to bring 18-year-old midfielder Diaz to the London Stadium this summer on a season long temporary deal, in order to replace Manuel Lanzini who is out for 9 months after sustaining cruciate knee ligament damage.
Pellegrini was the man responsible for bringing the attacking maestro, who stands at just 5’5″ (source: Transfermarkt) from Spain to the Etihad Stadium and is said to be keen on handing the youngster much more game time than he is currently getting under Pep Guardiola, who is also reportedly a big fan of the young talent.
Good move for West Ham?
Given that Pellegrini has admired the young ace for a while, it is no wonder he wants to bring him to East London. He is a young talent that deserves game time and the Hammers boss is able to grant him that without any questions.
Largely operating as an attacking midfielder, the Spain Under 21’s international is also able to play on both the right and left wing, a prospect that will impress Pellegrini as it means he can rotate him from time to time.

Likely to happen?
Given that Pellegrini has lost Lanzini for the majority of the next campaign, the diminutive attacker appears to be the most viable option to fill his boots.
At 18, his talent is still growing, and at West Ham that can only develop further through the regular game time he is almost certain to be having.
A move should be on the cards soon, and when it does happen, Diaz will surely light up the Premier League as an up and coming prospect.
