The fixtures of the Premier League 2018/2019 season were released on Thursday, and West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to express their utter dismay about how the upcoming season is going to pan out.
The Hammers will kick off their new campaign against Liverpool in what will be a tough away fixture, with another top six opponent in Arsenal away just two weeks later.
September will also be an eventful month with two home games against Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, with both teams challenging for a top four finish this season.
After November, the East London outfit will have a slightly better run in of matches, with the likes of Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United and new boys Cardiff City amongst the fixtures nearing towards Christmas.
This is the time West Ham will need to be racking up the points in order to achieve survival, with April’s matches including three of the top six.
West Ham fans have now taken to Twitter to express their reaction to the fixtures list, with many cursing about the club’s tough start to the season which sees them face four of last season’s top six.
