West Ham fans are not getting too excited about hearing that they are close to finalising a deal for the Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
The Hammers, according to a report in The Sun, had a bid rejected of £4.5 million by the Welsh club as they wanted £7m for 33-year-old.
But now a club insider, Claret and Hugh, who regularly break news on all things West Ham, has claimed on Twitter that a fee has been agreed between the two parties as a transfer looks imminent.

The stopper is keen to play in the Premier League which means Swansea will have little say on where his future lies given that he has just one year remaining on his contract in South Wales.
As it stands, the Hammers only have Adrian in goal and due to that lack of quality in reserve and numbers, the goalkeeping position has become one that is in desperate need of strengthening.
Fabianski was ever-present for Swansea last season, playing every minute of all 38 games as Swansea were relegated from the top flight, but he still managed to keep nine clean sheets in that time.
Nonetheless, supporters don’t seem happy with the news and here is a selection of Twitter reactions from supporters who are unimpressed that a deal is close:
As a backup keeper

Not better than other but on a par..
Think he’s looking for a keeper who’s good with his feet & he is better than most with his feet— ironman (@Adamkni95228412) June 12, 2018
Average keeper at best, probably on a par with @AdriSanMiguel
