Tottenham should make signing Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic their top priority, as it was revealed that the player is open to the idea of a move away from the Italian giants.

Speaking in an interview with CalcioMercato, Miroslav Bicanic (Brozovic’s agent) revealed that the Croatia international hasn’t ruled out leaving the San Siro.

“Whether or not he will remain is dependent on Inter and the market,” Bicanic stated.

Tottenham were linked with a move for the 24-year-old back in 2017, and should now have been boosted by his agent’s admission.

However, Brozovic is attracting interest from a number of ‘big clubs’ so Spurs will have to move fast if they are to land the Croatia international’s signature.

Spurs is just one club on a long list of potential suitors for Brozovic, with Manchester City also being heavily linked so Levy will have to move quickly.

The report suggested back in 2017 that Spurs were consdiering using Erik Lamela as a bargaining chip, as the Italian outfit Inter Milan were interested in their Argentina international in a swap deal.

Mauricio Pochettino will have to move fast if he is to secure the 24-year-old, as it was also reported that Sevilla were very close to signing him last season, only for the deal to fall through at the last minute, so the interest is there around the World.

One more concern could be that Brozovic will be watched by the World this summer in Russia, and a solid performance could entice other team’s to make a bid for the player.

However, it could be hard-pressed to land a deal at all, as the midfielder is looking forward to playing Champions League football with Inter next season, so the attraction is not necessarily down to that feature.

Pochettino and Daniel Levy must move fast if they want to secure a deal for the promising talent.
