Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli has not ruled out a move away from the club if the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid came calling

In an interview with online publication ES Magazine, the 6″1′ (source: Transfermarkt) midfielder boldly admitted that he will not rule out a summer move amid interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United, as well as Spanish powerhouses Barcelona and Real Madrid.

He was quoted by ES Magazine as saying: “I’d never say never to anything.

“We’ve got a young team, a young manager, a new stadium, so it’s a great place to be at the minute. But you never know what’s going to happen in football.”

However,  the 22-year-old reinforced the fact that Spurs is a good place for him to be as he approaches the prime of his playing career, but boss Pochettino may face a struggle in keeping young talent like Alli on the books due to the club’s strict wage structure.

OPINION

Since arriving from MK Dons in 2015, Alli has made a striking impact on the club through his creative attacking play, which rewards him with a number of goals and assists. With still a few years left on his contract with the North London club, Alli would be mad not to make the most of his time at the club which has helped him thrive and compete amongst the best players in the Premier League. During the 2017/2018 campaign, the attacker contributed 14 goals and 17 assists in 50 appearances, which is something Spurs will sorely miss if he decided that his future no longer belongs to Tottenham. His achievements since arriving from the League Two outfit have been a pleasure to witness and has deservedly earned him a place in England’s World Cup squad. At such a young age, Alli has a bright future ahead of him, whether that be at Spurs or any top level club he potentially makes the move to.
